How would you describe who you are beyond your professional title?

I am just a girl who loves nature and the outdoors and who doesn’t like spending money haha.

What experiences have shaped the person you are today?

I think all our life experiences inevitably shape who we are today. Even the bad ones.

What continues to move you forward in your work and life?

I truly love my work and my life! I look forward to new challenges that will help me grow professionally and personally. There is a lot of life to live.

What do you hope your work moves or inspires in others?

I hope that my work inspires others to support the arts in as many ways as they can.

Can you share a moment when travelling with SIGNICIA became part of a meaningful experience, sparked a conversation or created a connection?

SIGNICIA is now permanently ingrained in my memory because it accompanied me on my first trip to Locarno Film Festival, where my film The House On The Moon was premiering! It truly kept me company from the plane, to the train, to long walks across cobblestone to Locarno town. Those tiny wheels are very powerful take my word!

What are you moving towards next? 

I am moving towards an exciting new phase in my life where I am a new homeowner! This will be the next major project I am working on.

What first drew you to acting, and what continues to keep you connected to the craft?

I have always been drawn to performing arts. My first role was Pocahontas in my kindergarten graduation musical. I remember loving every moment on stage. I can’t live without acting and I feel very sad when I don’t have work. That’s how I know I was meant to do it.

Has portraying a character ever changed the way you see yourself or the world?

Actually every character I’ve played has changed me in one way or another. They are all so varied and flawed and different. I owe a lot to the characters I play and their unique ways of seeing the world.

What do you hope audiences feel or carry with them after watching your performance?

I hope that they don’t see me but rather truly get sucked into the world of the show. I hope that I am a chameleon that allows the audience to suspend their disbelief entirely.
